Job Summary:
Client Service Associate is responsible for enhancing the client experience by servicing clients and providing operational and administrative support to Financial Advisors. As a Client Service Associate, you will interface with clients and prospective clients, anticipate their needs, resolve their problems, and follow through to provide exceptional service. This individual will also perform administrative duties to support our inspiring and collaborative team of 12 Financial Advisors in their daily business practices (e.g., client meetings, on-boarding new clients, marketing, etc.) and be the driver of firm initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
Educate clients on account services and capabilities (e.g., how to read statements/confirms, how to use Online
Services, paperless options, etc.)
Collect appropriate documentation to set up new accounts
Leverage various communication channels to keep in touch with clients (e.g., send out birthday cards, e-mail
research newsletters)
Process account service requests and ensure appropriate documentation
Direct incoming phone calls to appropriate team member
Wealth Management
Input data into Financial Planning tools
Input orders within appropriate system and complete associated paperwork, if registered
As a registered representative, discerning appropriate trade activity to compliment the portfolio strategy, and to raise funds for cashiering activities
Review daily branch reports and alerts and process accordingly
Assist in the preparation of client reports and other materials for client meeting
Practice Management
Maintain contact management systems with up-to-date key client information
Provide team with up-to-date calendar including daily, weekly, and monthly activities
Understand risk awareness and regulatory knowledge
Talent Management
Proactively develop self to continuously improve knowledge, skills and credentials
Communicate development needs to Senior Financial Advisor or Team Administrator as applicable
Assist with on-boarding new members to the team
Required Skills/Abilities:
1-2 years of client service experience
Series 7 and 66 licensed preferred or willingness to acquire a license while on the job
College Degree preferred
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, including being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Possesses exceptional multi-tasking skills and strong time-management
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
