Job Summary:
The Manager of Accounts Payable with EdgeCo will be a member of the corporate Accounting & Finance team. They will be a key contributor in ensuring payables are processed timely and accurately following procedures and controls.
We are looking for someone who can be proactive and be very hands-on. You will train staff, maintain and improve processes, and be able to quickly adapt to evolving operations and rapidly growing department and company. You will work with various departments and be responsible for accurate reporting of over 2,000 expenses on a monthly basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Train and manage staff
Manage invoice and expense operations, to include employee expenses, corporate card transactions, and AP invoicing
Perform allocations throughout multiple subsidiaries and itemizations of expenses as necessary according to budgeting or other reporting tools
Maintain expense processing system and oversee workflows, administration, and reporting tools
Perform end of the month expense reconciliations
Manage vendor profiles and relationships
Manage the annual 1099 process
Continually drive process automation and improvements to include contracting and purchasing workflows, and API integration
Assist with annual financial audits and other regulatory audits as needed
Update and maintain department procedures and controls to be utilized regularly by staff
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university preferred
5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility
Proficient in GAAP
Strong organization and people management skills
Experience with Concur and system implementations is required
Experience with budgeting is preferred
Ability to work in the Pittsburgh office most days
