NewEdge Advisors is looking for a highly skilled service-minded associate with a positive attitude who enjoys problem-solving and meeting the needs of our advisor base & home office staff. The Client Services & Operations Associate will report directly to the Director of Operations. The position will be located in New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities and Duties
The position of Client Services & Operations Associate is a dynamic role with a diversified number of assigned daily tasks. The primary responsibilities of this job include managing the data entry and tracking of new advisors’ business to NewEdge Advisors to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of business. Responsibilities include general operations support, disbursement approvals, notification and processing of service-related items during advisor transition & operation. Additional duties include providing transition support to advisors via phone and email, including account paperwork review & tracking, supporting the transition & onboarding process for new firms joining Goss Advisors.
Duties and Tasks:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Provide exceptional service to staff and clients – the advisors of NewEdge Advisors. Be an advocate and resource for the advisors and staff.
Provide consultative guidance related to the transition process and broker-dealer or custodian operational procedures.
Data entry and tracking of client account detail, paperwork & account status.
Proactively identify issues that advisor representatives may encounter during transition and operating their business (compliance regulations and procedures, licensing requirements, client communications, paperwork procedures, etc.).
Liaise with vendors and back office on advisor-specific operational issues.
Review and process service messages sent by the clearing firms.
Conduct training sessions for Representatives and office staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by Goss Advisors Operations leadership.
