Job Summary:

The Operations Specialist is a member of the Wealth Management Services Group and supports financial advisors and asset managers on our broker, advisory and trust platforms

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

May assist in training newly hired associates
Perform back-office functions such as data entry on both the brokerage and trust platforms
Review and establish new accounts in accordance with policies and procedures
Provide timely and accurate account maintenance
Respond to client requests promptly and accurately
Process account and asset transfer requests along with resolving issues
Assist with client on-boarding i.e., opening new accounts and submitting transfers
Review and update procedures for all tasks performed on a regular basis
Work collaboratively with associates, advisors, managers and end-clients
Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and operational processes
Ability to quickly develop the necessary skills or knowledge to address and support a new product or procedure
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring the overall quality of the work processed
Perform assigned functions within established timeframes
Ability to work independently or part of the team
Appreciation for compliance and adherence to various rules and regulations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Exercise time management
Dependable, professional and customer-focused
