Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Director drives new sales of retirement plan services to Financial Advisors and their plan sponsor clients.This is accomplished through a consultative sales process with a Financial Advisor to promote the AmericanTCS product offering. The goal is to ultimately help a Financial Advisor grow their retirement plan book of business and create better retirement outcomes for plan participants and sponsors.

Third Party Administration (TPA) Services
3(16) & 402(a) Fiduciary Services
3(38) Investment Fiduciary Services & Managed Accounts
Actuarial Services – Cash Balance & Defined Benefit Plans
Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs) & Pooled Plan Provider (PPP) Services
Location: Ideal candidate will be located in the Mid-West territory that the position will cover (ND, SD, MN, IA, NE, KS, MO, IL, IN, KY, TN, AR, OK, TX, LA, MS, AL)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strong, in-depth knowledge of American Trust retirement plan services offered.
Ability to discuss industry trends with financial advisors and plan sponsors.
Ability to learn multiple platform/product solutions; assist financial advisors and their clients with a “needs analysis” and recommending the appropriate solution.
Establish and maintain productive, working relationships with financial advisors with the goal of earning or growing their business with American Trust.
Remain current on industry, technical and product knowledge. Complete management reports, expense reports and other special tasks as requested.
Effectively manage all potential clients.
Strong working relationships with financial advisory firms to promote American Trust retirement plan services.
Lead and participate in finals presentations.
Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in the retirement plan industry or selling role in the retirement plan industry
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Proven successful sales experience and relationship management.
Over-night travel is required
Superior time management skills required
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Salary $70,000 – $85,000 and will be eligible for incentive compensation based on commissions.
