Job Summary:
The Sr. Project Coordinator, reporting to the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO), will flex between providing Project Management and Business Analyst responsibilities as project needs are identified to support the Project Management Office and the Enterprise Information Technology department.
Primary responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements through collaboration with the business and following PMO processes and procedures to support development teams to ensure projects are completed on time, in budget and to specifications. This role additionally supports critical processes and information supporting EIT’s continuous improvement, customer transparency, and compliance. The Sr. Project Coordinator will also provide support for one or more project teams, systems, and processes supporting the Project Life Cycle Methodology, Portfolio Governance, Time Tracking system, and EIT metric reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, deliver and make recommendations the PMO administers that is used for presentations, reports, and meetings, ie: metric reporting, time tracking, project data etc.
Review project requirements, identify interdependencies with internal or external departments, delegate responsibilities and ensure that work is completed.
Work with or support (based on assigned project and project needs) PMO, development team, information security, infrastructure, business units, and internal and external customers and vendors to effectively plan, execute, manage projects, and report their progress.
Prepare, lead and understand customer requirements through sessions, interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, online research, data analysis, and/or code analysis.
Analyze existing process to identify gaps and areas of improvement. Works with other departments to create, develop, and implement process improvements with an enterprise-wide focus.
Collaborate with other PMO members to create and maintain templates owned by PMO.
Create and maintain regularly scheduled reporting materials.
Ensure adherence and consistent use of approved methods, processes, procedures, and tools.
Assist with maintaining project artifacts according to the EdgeCo Project Life Cycle.
Maintain project files and repositories for compliance/audit reference.
Provide knowledgeable support for PMO’s policies and procedures.
Support EIT and PMO continuous improvement tasks and activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience in related field.
Combined 3+ years serving as a Business Analyst, Project Administrator/Coordinator or Project Manager within an Information Technology organization.
Demonstrated experience serving as a Project Manager on small to medium scale projects.
Knowledge of and experience with Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI, Monday.com.
High-level of knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently while preserving accuracy and attention to detail.
Energetic self-starter, with the ability to work independently.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 based on experience
