Job Summary:
The Sr. Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Project Management Office (PMO), will be responsible for working on medium to large scale complex projects or special projects related to acquisition integrations. Through working as a part of the PMO, the Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for all project tasks related to project execution including planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet project objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, monitor, and control medium to large scale, complex and/or special projects.
Work with the PMO, development team, information security, infrastructure, business units, and internal and external customers and vendors to effectively plan, execute manage projects and report their progress.
Create and own detailed project plans, scope, budget including estimations and actuals, schedules, and milestones.
Assign, manage, lead, and oversee project tasks and work, and control project execution.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to project specifications and objectives.
Identify, track, communicate and report project progress, metrics, issues, and risks to stakeholders, portfolio governing bodies, and senior management.
Own Change and Risk Management as it relates to project scope changes.
Prepare and manage project documents and artifacts according to standards and procedures outlined in the project life cycle methodology.
Coordinate resource allocation and evaluate and monitor efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources.
Together with other PMO members, works on establishing PMO standard processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
5+ years serving as a Project Manager on medium to large scale projects within an Information Technology organization.
BS/BA degree in Engineering disciplines or Business Management.
Knowledge of and experience with Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI, Monday.com.
High-level of knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience in supporting acquisition integrations preferred.
Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Certified Scrum Master (MS) a plus.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Experience with IT and infrastructure focused projects (including interfacing and working with vendors).
Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Effective at mitigating issues and resolving conflict.
Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Energetic self-starter, with the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently while preserving accuracy and attention to detail.
